Tulips in our garden by ivan

Tulips in our garden

Just a quick shot using the Sony 6300. I hadn't used it since coming back from Holland in October, found the battery flat, and the spare only 25%.

I still have an old Pentax slr with a couple of outdated/damaged lenses and tend to take that, if we are leaving the car - security, that kit isn't worth much! :)
Lovely lighting and composition. Fav! 😀

Love the leaves as much as the vibrant flowers!

I can see there are advantages in only having a compact. It goes everywhere I go - so no worries about leaving expensive equipment anywhere. Your tulips are splendid.

Beautiful shot. They make a beautiful spectacle in the garden while they last. I got some vintage lenses from my brother-in-law, got an adapter from the U.S. ( with my son's help) and they fit nicely on my Nikon. I am trying them out and they look good.

@helenhall You are right, I often borrow Tina's Fuji compact, as for the Dome pic a couple of days ago. Keep thinking of getting one myself! :)

@ivan Thank you. Sounds a good arrangement, your vintage lenses + adapter. One of my 'older' lenses only works on 'A' but the glass is fantastic!
