I got this yesterday, and was delighted to find an exposed film inside. The camera dates from the 40's so I have been dreaming of pictures take in London during the blitz or Paris following liberation. If! and it's a big if anything can be salvaged from it, it will probably be out of focus family shots . but even that would be great, I have to send it to a specialist developer in Dublin. Fingers crossed I get something.
How exciting - hope you get something good from that film! And at least you managed to get the Popular model - I hear all the other cameras that they did were...well, not as popular ;)
Oh John, this is too fabulous! Isn't the anticipation just wonderful?! And how fun that all these years later, we hold "out-of-date film" in such high regard! Please do share a photo of at least a couple of the negatives; it's a genuine surprise package!
