Thor Ballylee...

This was the summer home of WB Yeats. He bought it for 35 pounds in 1717 . Its at the end of a long narrow road with a gentle stream flowing past. He was very productive here . The view from the top is spectacular , accessed by a very narrow winding , stone stairs.
It looks tranquil, peaceful, like a place where a poet could get some work done.
