This is actually the Vatican's latest approach to the conversion of heathens - it was decided at the last Ecumenical Meeting that it would be far safer to fit small, discreet blades to the heads of the missionary, thereby allowing them to essentially be airlifted in to the difficult territories. It also serves the double function of allowing the missionary to make a safe escape before being filled with arrows.
