Oh I also remember this reminds me when my best friend got married and the florist forgot to cut off the stamens and she ended up with orange smears all over her dress! Funny how a picture can make you remember things burried at the back of your brain!

An excellent idea and beautiful composition. Fav! I've been feeling like you for a few weeks now and toying with giving up 365 but it has become so much a part of my life that I keep coming back! Stick to it, it's worth it.
@roz2012@1977@stoat@lleucullwyd - thank you all so much for your comments and taking time to stop and look. I've been overwhelmed by the response to this lily photo, it just sort of happened really! I didn't execute it according to a plan, just laid it down and played with lighting and angles.....
What a lovely shot. I can see why it made PP, it is stunning. I would also try this shot with a diffuser held between the light and the flower. It would soften the light nicely, and take out the few shadows. Costs about £10-£15. The shot is beautiful, it would just be interesting to see it another way.
