315. My cup runneth over.....

I've been toying with the idea of something different to do with some of the red berries around at the moment.... this just kinda evolved really! Probably inspired by the display of poppies at the Tower of London though.

Still on a bit of a high from yesterday evening at the camera club..... I'm going to be catching up with you all tonight as Roy and Adam are both out and I have the house, settee and remote all to myself!
Beautiful. Following.

Great shot and if it is based on the poppies then it is a good representation.

@padlock - thanks.... I did wonder how I would make the berries tumble out of the cup, and sellotape worked well!

Excellent. Imitation is sometimes a spur to creativity. Well done!

Fabulous capture that I really love. Even before reading your description, it was the thought that crossed my mind, it looks like the Tower of London. Big FAV for your creativity.

Very creative! Wonderful capture the red berries and the white cup and saucer and the gorgeous reflections on the counter. I wondered how you got that flow thanks for explaining it because I was thinking you strong all the berries together.

Oh, so this is why you chose that work surface for the kitchen, we should have known! ;-)
Well, it does make a great reflecting surface. Very clever and creative concept, well built and captured.

Congrats on a creative idea cleverly achieved. Those poppies at the Tower are mind-blowing. Went to see them last week - so glad I did!

I just love this, a fav.

I read your story and admire anyone who can take a photo a day. Haven't been able to stay true to that. I have an hour commute to and from work and many a night I get home to exhausted to think about taking a photo. And don't always have time on my lunch break. So think it is wonderful that you make yourself do this. If the truth were told I probably lack the discipline.

Fabulous set up. Very creative.
November 12th, 2014
Beautiful reflection. Yes my first thought was poppies flowing red.
November 12th, 2014
So vibrant! Love!
November 13th, 2014
Great shot! I love the reference to the poppies but not so literal. The moment I saw it on the PP, that was the first thing I thought of even though it was a tea cup!
