babysitting the granddog for my daughter this week. he appears in my first photos in closeup here on 365 but today I thought I would shoot him with a real backdrop and lighting! with dogs as with children are not easy to work with however they sit still for treats! if you knew joey you would know this is his quintessential pose. he's a charmer. he is a wheaton cairn terrier adopted from a lady who found out she had cancer and was going into chemo a couple of weeks after she got him. she decided she couldn't train a puppy along with chemo and after interviewing my daughter decided she was the one to have him. he loves his mama so much and I know he is missing her but she has a foster dog that is just too much to handle so we took joey as he gets along with our lab. her other dogs not so much so joey was the choice to come visit with us til the adoption of the foster pup!
@hayleymolloycook@samzee@boatpainter@californialover thanks everyone for having a look at Joey...only problem is he will be going home a couple of lbs heavier I am afraid because of all the treats! he's a little chunk to begin with! LOL!
@lyndemc the hard part is he looks like this all the time...you can't get mad at him because he is eternal cuteness...sitting at my hip napping while I make my comments tonight : ) he will be going home Monday...will probably miss him a little
