that's what we call it...those of us born in dearborn, mi anyway. known worldwide as Ford World Headquarters this was built after World War II, completed in 1956. It's architectural style is international. Soon construction will start on it's neighbor, a cylindrical building...very eco friendly in nature. Ford Motor Company already has some "green" additions to their buildings such as living roofs. anyway, as I came off the expressway on the off ramp this was gleaming in the morning sun. I stopped as no one was behind me on the ramp and shot this quickly. fortunately my settings were ok!
@kwind houses 3000 employees! All of Ford Motor is run from this building! On the very right top you can see a tree on the rooftop patio of the president of the company!
