hello everyone. thank you so much for your support these past couple of weeks. while the situation isn't completely resolved it is in a quieter place right now. I missed taking photographs a lot and while I still don't feel the way I used to about this hobby, part of me needs to focus on it in spare time. I made a trip downtown to the conservatory where it is warm inside (we have been experiencing such super cold weather in Michigan!) as usual it was steamy inside but I had my car warm so I didn't experience the fogged up lenses I sometimes get when I go inside the conservatory! this plant with it's colorful leaves were a pleasant sight amidst the poinsettias they had put out for the season. I have no idea what it is. not a ton of flowers were blooming and there were lots of people taking advantage of the conservatory and it's neighbor the aquarium so my macro shooting with tripod was thwarted. I'll visit again when school is in session and the visitors are few. your photos have been great...I kept watching even though I wasn't posting. again thank you and I will catch up with some commenting soon! So appreciative of you all!

I feel blessed and worried at the same time. Such is life I guess. This time of year always seems when hard things happen for our family unfortunately.
