Just fallen and beautiful now, but I saw the big trucks with salt allready driving through our neighborhood.........after the salt comes the ******** mess!

Lovely wintry scene. We too had snow falls throughout the day today, but hasn't stuck so far - although more forecast for this evening and overnight - see what tomorrow brings.
@robz It’s mostly used on roads with much traffic, those small streets are seldom sprayed. So not much plant life will suffer. And we don’t have much snow anyhow........brrr knock-out on wood now 😉
I remember having the roads salted when we lived in the UK. The salt really rusts your car too doesn't it. Don't miss cold and snow at all even though it does look quite beautiful.
@sangwann Thanks Dione, you made me smile. The person with the umbrella was brave. Was I brave too, Hihihi, or do us photographers have to suffer for our work? I was glad to have the pigeon too, extra movement in my shot.

@777margo @onewing The salt does melt the snow and isn’t verygood for your car. Well i’m Going to work but have to free my car first..........7:20 am
