Wendy asked me to do a portrait with rimlight and if possible with some detail in the face.
Lots of sunlight outside so I used that for my external light source, lighting on my camera as dark as possible but still having some detail in the face.

One of the units of our central heating started leaking quite heavily and we had to call a plumber to stop the leakage at least. Mother in law still here so I need to give her some time too. This was the best I could do at short notice.....I revisit this challenge at some later date.
Nothing to apologize for here, Jacqueline! This is a super response to a difficult technical challenge.

this is fantastic, jacqueline. no apologies needed as this is hard to accomplish, for me at least. i'd have wanted a bit more lighting on the face, but this is great as it is. aces!
Uit ervaring weet ik dat Cyclamen niet zo goed tegen warmte kunnen. Toen ik opzocht waar ze van nature groeien kwam ik op deze soort. De deken van sneeuw helpt ook veel. Dat isoleert .
@pyrrhula Alles is afgedopt en er moet een nieuwe radiator komen.....doorgeroest. Zal wel een maandag model zijn geweest ;)
