Bokeh DIY

This afternoon i made a paper filter for my lens with a heartshaped cut out, i wanted to try to get. bokeh with hearts. This Christmas tree was just the thing to try my paper filter and it partially worked. The wet street made for some nice reflections.
What a clever idea!

Such a stunning capture Jacqueline! Did you use translucent paper for it, I would love to give it a try :-)

@fbailey @30pics4jackiesdiamond @egad @ludwigsdiana Thank you all for your nice comments.
I used black paper. I drew a circle on the paper with the width of my lenscap, then I drew 3 flaps on the circle 4 cm long. You fold the flaps round your lens and hold them in place with a rubber band. Before you do that cut out one heart in the middle of the disc ( no bigger than 1 cm) I experimented with it quite a lot and found it works best in the dark 🙃
