The ancient mariner by jacqbb

The ancient mariner

@teriyakih asked me to try a portrait of a person or animal with non-natural lighting.
Today I went with my friend Jeannette to a Vikingmuseum in Den Oever (a village in the north of the Netherlands, near the IJsselmeer) In the museum they had a exhibition about the Vikings but they had also treasures found in the earth and the sea. There we saw this skull, it was about 200 years old, and probably from a seaman that drowned in the sea.
@teriyakih I couldn’t find a willing model for this challenge......the cats were sleeping or moved to much and my husband didn’t want to pose so I was glad when I found this ancient mariner.
