Hwy 143 Tree

I woke up feeling like I needed a minimalist landscape in my life, today. Lucky me - I live near farm country. I captured this lone tree from a bike trail near Marine, Illinois.

This really works well. The tree is in just the right place and the shapes made by the colour of the fields are strong and simple. A great minimalist shot.
