Seeing My Mother Seeing

Every week, I walk with my mother, her eyesight worsening with each passing month. I wrote in an earlier post about this - I’m aware that what she and I see may be quite different. In this photo, I experimented with a triple exposure. We walk, she moves, I see, and so does she - but what exactly? BOB.
The colors and triple exposure stand out quite well against black. How difficult that must be to see the world that you know seeming to change. Love to both of you.

A powerful image with your story. I feel for your mom! It must be a scary feeling.

Beautifully done. I’m sorry your mom is going through this. I’m glad she has you to walk this journey with her. I know it is difficult... sending both both you and mom lots of good juju, white light.

Such a beautiful and thoughtful image, Janet. I know taking this journey with her must be so painful at times, but also how wonderful to be the light by her side. xo

@elatedpixie, @aikiuser, & @ PhyIM-S,
Sincere thanks. It’s mostly an honor and a pleasure because she is so appreciative. A real trooper, as they say. Your comments matter!
