As I'm heading across the water to Northern Ireland tonight to visit my husband's parents with him, I thought this was a cool shot to post - although, not one of mine. I had not met him at this stage! Here he is, in all his glory, Captain of the school rugby team in 1980 (the one holding the ball). Rugby players were so much smaller in those days!
A wonderful shot that brings about a smile of memory for him, no doubt, and a way for you to "know" without having been there. Visually, their striped uniforms against the lines and arches of the background details are interesting, punctuated by that prominent clock!
