Park Monceau by jamibann

Park Monceau

I walked through the Park Monceau yesterday on my way to an exhibition in Paris. I glimpsed this couple sitting under the tree and the light was so good I had to take a sneaky photograph. Not wishing to be a 'stalker' I snapped it very quickly but then, as I walked away, wished I'd taken more time over it. So I looked back, took a few more, carried on walking away and then walked right round the park to do it all again. Took about 10 photos in all ... and guess what, yes, the first one was a the best! Here it is!
Lovely lighting and tenderness.

Fab composition. Love the touch of red in the person's clothing.

What a lovely spot and terrific composition - all the beautiful yellow draping down and framing the couple. Fav

The light IS fabulous! I bet the couple would love a copy of this picture. (Funny how the first shot was the best after all. That seems to happen frequently for me too.)

The tree trunk is so gnarly! Just noticed that in studying the photo again.
