Sous les Ponts de Paris

As I walked under the bridges of Paris with my friend on Friday, I spotted the older couple between the lampposts have a romantic moment. I think they spotted me too! I'm embarrassed to say that I couldn't remember which 'pont' this is, but I'm pretty sure it's the Pont Neuf.
Using black and white gives it a timeless feel too.

I like this Issi - rather than the lamppost couple, I find my eye drawn to the lady walking under the arch.

Like Richard I find my eye drawn to the person under the bridge who appears to be engrossed in her phone. Fabulous looking bridge

What a marvelous B&W image — so many interesting details. And love the way the couple is framed by the lamp posts.

The nostalgia I feel for Paris creates actual pain in my heart at times.

@squamloon You know what - I do understand that. This is, for us, the third time we've lived in Paris, or at least within spitting distance, and whenever I was away for any length of time, I pined just to walk the streets of the city Ok, and have a meal on a pavement cafe too! I totally get it!
