Out with the old, in with the new!

These ruins and this house are situated in a fairly remote (!) part of the west coast of Scotland, near Torridon. We passed by when walking on Saturday. A delightful spot, but so terribly isolated. I'd love to know the history of the ruins and the current house. There were curtains in the house, but it didn't look particularly 'lived-in'.
Lovely shot ...

@quietpurplehaze That made me laugh out loud! Hey, how about it, Issi? Another house or even two needing a little TLC there?
