The Indicator on Craigendarroch

It rained all morning and as it dried up in the afternoon, hubby and I thought we'd go out for a walk. We decided to tackle the hill behind our house - a 3 km walk with 200m of elevation. This indicator is at the top, but sadly nothing could be seen, as it was not a clear day! Great little walk though. Then we thought we'd tackle Craig Coillach, another small hill near us - a further 3 km walk with 200m of elevation. Then, as we still had time, we thought we'd tackle Sgor Buidhe, the last hill you can climb from Ballater village - a further 8 km and another 300m of elevation. We ended up being quite exhausted after our afternoon walks, totalling 15 km.
oh you will have to return on a clear day - how interesting that indicator is :)

Y'all had quite a hike up all those hills. Too bad it wasn't a clear day, but you can put it in your to do list in a clear day.

That was a hike that just kept on going - imagine you were tired at the end! Sounds like a repeat might be in order on a clear day though.

I like how clear the words on the indicator are and the lovely blur of purple and green in the background.

What a great indicator. That was quite a long walk especially as there was a lot of uphill!!

Great shot, you certainly have stamina! You will have to go back on a better day when you get your breath back!!
