Bramble foraging

We spied these wild brambles a few weeks back whilst out on a walk and decided to go back today to raid the bushes! We got about 5 lbs. Our daughter wants us to freeze them so that she can sample them when she comes home for Christmas. She's very partial to a bramble and apple crumble, so I might just do that!

And as for the girlfriend ... what a lovely lass she is. This is her very first visit to Scotland! They're away to the west coast for a few days now, so I hope it stays fair for them both.
