Shadows and Light

Sitting at FiL's house in Portadown yesterday evening, I was struck by the shadows which were being created on the closed window blind - a gift from the setting sun behind the birch trees in his front garden. It didn't last long, and of course there was lots of movement because of the wind, but I rather liked the effect in black and white.

Ooh I love seeing a shadow of foliage on a blind or wall or window. I don't know why, but it is always so appealing!

I like this a lot. I tried something similar a few weeks ago, but didn't like the results. After looking at this, I believe it was because the silhouettes weren't as sharp as yours are.
