No lessons today, so we thought we'd set out on an 18km round trip on the skis. We made it, but were very tired when we got back in. I think we had the wrong wax on our skis for the afternoon temperatures as we started slipping backwards a lot, making it very hard work on the uphills (of which there seemed to be a disproportionate amount on the last 8 km ...). I think we need to check with an expert before we set out tomorrow. Another great day though.
Great picture! I went to Sweden many years ago and tried both downhill and cross country and much preferred the cross country but 10km was enough for me!
