It's a bit early for it, I confess, but how lovely it was to walk up Carn Leuchan (700m) and Pannanich Hill and get into some of the white stuff. A beautiful day yesterday, with the sun and mist coming and going during our 3-hour walk. We never met another soul although we saw lots of red deer and many traces of mountain hare. We always feel very fortunate to be able to do this from our own front door.
I have a friend arriving from Paris later today, and am really looking forward to some time in Scotland with her. She's never been here before. :-)
