This is one of Antony Gormley's statues situated on the Water of Leith near St. Marks park in Edinburgh. It forms part of a group of six life size figures, stretching from the Gallery of Modern Art to the sea.

I hadn't seen this one, only the one by the Royal Yacht Britannia in the harbour. Fascinating, aren't they?

That is really something to behold! So interesting and somewhat creepy. Would love to get right in the water, crouch down and get a shot from a low perspective. Looks kind of deep though! :)

Wow I never knew he had work up there in Edinburgh! We in the NW are very familiar with his beach statues in Crosby but amazing to see this one here standing in the river.
