A fantastic day of walking today, covering 20 km and every season. Wind, rain and sun. Typical of the Scottish Mountains. You can just see hubby and friends, having braved the rain storm, heading down to this loch for our picnic lunch. A fantastic day, which finished with supper at the Dalmunzie Hotel. The i-phone did me proud today.
@happypat Yes, I also had my point and shoot canon camera, but I seriously wonder about the benefit of carrying it too - the i-phone does such a good job these days.
@sarah19 We missed those thunderstorms in Ballater. Yesterday at the Spittal of Glenshee (our start point) was beautiful early on, then very windy on the high tops, followed by a really heavy rain shower which soaked us thoroughly, and then the sun came back. Scotland at its best!
