I went for a walk when I was up at dad's on Friday, around the foot of the hill, Morrone. I wanted to capture some of the beautiful birch trees in their autumn splendour. Unfortunately it was a bit late in the day and I was disappointed by my photography, but I got a couple of half decent shots. You can see a dusting of snow on the high hills in the background. Ben Avon to the right of the birch tree is the Munro we climbed for my 60th birthday back in June. Seems like an eternity ago! Better on black.
