Hubby and I took a wee walk down to the bridge over the river Dee, in our village, to take some air and allow him to look for salmon swimming up river. It was such a beautiful day, as you can see, and the autumn colours were splendid. We saw several fish swimming upstream (hubby's an expert fish spotter ...) and then also got to see two guys canoeing downstream. Not something you see often, as the river is not particularly easy to navigate. They told us they were trying to get from Braemar to Aberdeen - 60 miles. They'd done 17 by the time they reached this bridge. I hope they made it!
Wow that’s a challenge, hope it was going down river..oh of course it would be going to Aberdeen! Quite late in the day to have to go another good few miles but lucky for you to get this good shot!
Great view from the bridge!
