Hungry! by jamibann

Hungry!

This little fellow came in about to have his breakfast on Sunday. Love him to bits.
This is a super shot of him, what a darling squirrel! I can remember being so ridiculously excited when we visited Scotland and I saw red squirrels for the first time since childhood. Brought a big smile to my face :)

Aw he is so sweet. Hope he has enough supply here to keep him going through winter.

He appears to be such a tiny fellow. Imagine he's very thankful for the bounty that you offer him at the feeder.

Oh such a baby...those big eyes...hope he stays safe this winter. Such a privilege to have a visitor like that. Harry saw a grey one in our garden this morning but we are very used to them.

@casablanca I see them most days, especially at dad's place in Braemar, but I still get excited. I love them to bits.

@onewing Ha ha ... he buries them all over our garden, so as long as he can also find them again, I think he'll survive winter just fine! :-)

@tinley23 Well, I have named one of them Tufty, of course. ;-) But there are several different ones I've realised. Hard to tell the difference between them, but the size, the colour of the tail and the tufts (or lack of them) on the ears are a give away.

@lyndemc I think he had a good day yesterday, he's emptied the feeder and buried the peanuts all over the garden! Great entertainment for me.

Gorgeous....he knows where to go for a feast.
I'm thinking we need to have a feeder like this and encourage the ones we saw quite recently.
They are so beautiful.
