I'm afraid we're back to Monday's walk again, after a small diversion for Allan yesterday! How glorious it was to descend this hill with not another soul in sight. The tracks you see in front of hubby are from our ascent. Skis would have been nice for this beautiful slope though! :-)
This looks so inspiring Issi! I agree a ski down this slope looks tempting. How about “Snowfeet” - mini-ski-skates (which go over your winter shoes) could be fun to try?
@jb030958 Well, this particular one was a drive of about 22 miles from our home, but only 5 miles from my dad's place. The walk itself is from the roadside, and on this occasion it was a 14km round trip. It's very close to the ski resort of The Cairnwell, so is already pretty high before you start walking. Other walks we do however are often from our doorstep, without taking the car out at all.
@miss_molly Oh, something else to put in the rucksack! ;-) Could be cool however for those descents. In all honesty, I did a bit on my bum - great fun with waterproof trousers on, as long as there are no rocks to get in the way! This slope was perfect for it!
You must feel like you’re the only two people on Earth up there! Cant imagine how it feels. I think you would have enjoyed skiing down that hill....would have got home in record time!
Another lovely scene!
