These hillside hare sculptures are a continuing mystery to me. I have no idea who is responsible for them, and they move from time to time. I have found three to date, and on Sunday two were missing from their usual spots, but I found this one in a new place, sitting on top of an old drystone wall, surveying Pannanich hill. It certainly adds an element of interest and mystery to a well trodden path up this particular hill.
Ha Ha the hares are following you on your walks!! I love him and think it's wonderful that someone is making these and moving them around - I wonder who?
Great photo and good to find. Curious about the others....I hope they will turn up soon.
We had two mice in the town square when it was refurbished about ten years ago but the lower level one was taken and never turned up. 😪
@maggiemae Ha ha ... don't think they're heavy though, they are like a plasticised paper mâché and they're held onto the wall with wires. @gosia I love that they move around - you never know if you're going to meet them in the same place or not!
@sarah19 It would be a shame if they disappear. They're a bit of excitement for me - especially as they often feature on my 365 post, especially if there's a change of view behind them!
Well isn’t he magnificent....love those massive ears & his rather startled eyes! How intriguing they keep moving...you must say bingo when you come across them! Fave.

What a delightfully whimsical idea. I hope the other two return.
