That's a few kilos of lovely juicy brambles collected now, and popped into the freezer for year-round bramble and apple crumble and/or bramble jelly. John's dad's walking stick is always used for fetching the out-of-reach fruit, so has to appear in the image!
I love blackberries but since we stopped farming I haven’t been out blackberrying since then. I used to have loads in the freezer but none now. Love the idea of you using your FIL stick to reach up high. I have a small metal bucked with a handle I use for blackberrying…I still have it.
Family treasures- you should put a book together of some of these pictures with their explanations- a little family history for your family in a different way. Nice shot.
