Sacred Rain Arrow

Allan Houser Sculpture Garden
Allan Houser was a renowned Apache artist who taught at Santa Fe’s Institute of American Indian Arts. He was one of the most influential 20th century artists in the entire world with work from the Heard Museum in Phoenix to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. He bought land outside of Santa Fe where his work is currently displayed. Visitors must make a reservation for directions to the land and to tour.
This statue is approximately 5 feet tall, and its pedestal is about 6. To see it in perspective see my spare album here: https://365project.org/janeandcharlie/album-2/2017-07-24

I really like how you have the sun in the shot, so it looks like he is shooting his arrow to the sun.

The sun was perfect for this shot. It looks like the children's book Arrows to the Sun.

Thank you so much for commenting on my photo of the Native American statue shooting an arrow into the sky. I couldn't believe my luck that the sun made rays like that in the photo.
