Albuquerque's New Bike Path by janeandcharlie

Albuquerque's New Bike Path

Last year the city made this new bike path that winds through the bosque (cottonwood tree forest) along the Rio Grande River. It is about 6.5 miles long, so 13 round trip. We ride our tandem on it every morning, often with our daughter and a grandson or two. It is good for my soul, and I believe it is helping me move on from my traumatic year of 2016.
A lovely capture and I agree that being out in nature is healing.

Being out in nature is such a tonic for the soul. I love the orange and green colours, and it looks a lovely place to ride.

There is nothing like the peace and calm of the Bush mixed with the innocence of children surrounding you to help the body and mind recover. Take it gently. Great to hear you are both able to get back out on the track again.
