Last year the city made this new bike path that winds through the bosque (cottonwood tree forest) along the Rio Grande River. It is about 6.5 miles long, so 13 round trip. We ride our tandem on it every morning, often with our daughter and a grandson or two. It is good for my soul, and I believe it is helping me move on from my traumatic year of 2016.
@linnypinny@terryliv@harbie@777margo Thank you so much for your kind comments about my photo of Albuquerque's new bike path. We've already precious memories from it and feel blessed to have it.
There is nothing like the peace and calm of the Bush mixed with the innocence of children surrounding you to help the body and mind recover. Take it gently. Great to hear you are both able to get back out on the track again.
