Beautiful light changing what is a rather uninteresting subject into an extraordinary photo. Back it up with the perfect quote and you have a winner in my book.

Thank you so much for your comments about my photo of the church pews. This is from Monastery of Christ in the Desert, a Benedictine Monastery with about a dozen monks who are living their lives there. It is in northern New Mexico, and from the highway, it is 13 miles on a dirt road along the beautiful Chama River--very remote. Each monk has his own pew space. They are entirely self-sufficient with most of their income from rental quarters where people can vacation or organizations may have retreats, but they also have a brewery and a gift shop. The architecture is fantastic. You can see it here: https://christdesert.org/
