Horned Sidewinder Rattlesnake in Black and White

This snake looks like a devil with its horns, is venomous, burrows in sand and moves sideways quickly. All in all—pretty sinister!
Does it have his eyes sat on a prey..or what do I see infront of it.

Thanks so much for your comments about my photo of the sidewinder rattlesnake. We did not see it move; it just stayed buried in the sand. When they move, they can go 17 mph, and here is a short video of one moving--very unusual: https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=725R5RvtiUI
