Thanks so much for commenting on my photo of the crystal ball in the crabapple orchard. I learned more than I knew I could about crabapples. People usually plant a lone tree because the blossoms are so pretty and fragrant, and they are sometimes pink as well and are always at eye level. This was an entire orchard of them because horses like to eat crabapples, and there were many horses in the neighborhood.
