Red Head

Lots of new plants went in around the pond today, and Pennisetum ‘Red Head’ has fast become my favorite. The slightest breeze sends its tall, smoky-pink plumes swaying; and when the evening sun comes through the clearing, those plumes simply glow! Also, the plumes are excellent for cutting and displaying fresh or dried. I’m in love!

Wonderful shot with the light coming through - Super focus - I wonder if that - or one of its relatives - holds me in awe in the early morning light. Looks similar but I'm not sure about the color. Will have to pay more attention.
