There’s just something about the way the natural light shines in and right onto this statue every day that brings me joy. Without fail. And I’m so thankful for it!
@cejaanderson Thank you, Jane! The statue is a golden angel sitting on a bench, and it is almost 3 feet tall. When I bought her years ago, she was painted a soft ivory color; but we had her gilded to better match the room. I love her gentle expression; and since I love birds, I couldn't pass her up. She's brought me joy since the day I brought her home!
That would bring a soft smile to your face when you look at the statue - the whole pose with the little bird just gives off a special mood. Your shot is nice in b&w
