I opened the front door this morning to check on Spring and found some magnolia blossoms just beginning to unfurl. I noticed a pretty blush of pink on the petals that I didn't recall seeing in past years. Did I miss the pink in the past, or does the pink show up as the tree matures? Will the fully opened flowers dangle creamy white as usual? I love a good mystery!
I so appreciate you taking the time to view my photos. Thank you for every sweet comment and fav. So very kind of all of you! :-)
Janet, simply, this is beautiful! I was amazed to discover (only years ago) that magnolias bloomed as other than the large, white, cupped blossoms! I'm guessing this will be of the shades-of-pink variety, baby-like, set against that powder blue sky! Thank you for the expression of appreciation for my narrative...I, too, value the same, and beyond a charming photo, I love to know what the photographer is thinking about the gift of the presentation. Nicely done!
