I loved stumbling upon this quote, because it expresses my thoughts exactly! I view it as a gift — this getting the mail. Each day’s pull of the knob can reveal delightful surprises — a magazine to curl up with, a handwritten note from a friend, a letter come a long way from a sponsored child in a country I’ve never seen and can only imagine. Imagine if the mail didn’t come. A gift, indeed!
Most of our mail is junk and goes straight in the recycling basket. Lol! However, every saturday morning I get my amateur photographer magazine delivered in the post and i love receiving it and can't wait to have a quick flick through before reading it properly. Good shot
Love your creative touch here and your written words are so true. I do agree with Lynne LOL, I get junk mail too, but the only thing I got recently that got my attention was my Voting Pamphlet. My state votes next week. I'd rather get a favorite magazine or a letter. :>)
