In the wild places along the roadsides, a parade of colorful flowers marches along through Spring; and I find it fun to identify the ever-changing species that bring such joy to everyday drives. This week, billowing yellow drifts call out for attention near our mailbox at the bottom of the hill; and a bit of research revealed them to be winter cress, also known as yellow rocket and first in the mustard family to bloom in Spring. I wonder what will come next!
