While the Carolina wren and black-capped chickadee busy themselves tending their young, we busy ourselves tending to garden chores. I filled the hummingbird feeder twice already today, and it needs filled again; but who can’t take time to snip a few of the first peony blooms?
Love the elegance in this, Janet. Wonderful comp, lovely soft tones and great dof. And that bird on the vase, fits so well with the bird in your logogram/signature.
It would be unfair of me to just say thank you and not come to see your photos! And it's my gain for coming by! What a beautiful image to enjoy as I watch my peony buds and wonder when I'll have them to grace my table as well! Isn't this time of year a joy, time to be outside and time to watch the almost visible growth of the summer garden!
An exquisite capture Janet, with lovely dof, light and comp. The peonies and the glass cornucopia vase are just beautiful. Is the vase an antique? Has to be a fav for me.
@tristansmum Hi, Stephanie! Thank you so much for your kind, generous comment and the fav. The vase was a gift from my husband years ago; and yes, it is an antique. :-)
