My decision to title my latest album Musings stems from my quest to dig deeper — deeper into the reasons I make pictures and, thus, into the fertile soil where seeds of self-discovery sprout. Rather than force myself to make a daily photo, I wait for my heart to sing! Then, my camera’s a spade that I plunge deep; and what I unearth helps me to grow.
A seed neither fears light nor darkness, but uses both to grow.

what a delightful approach - and I know for a fact that a singing heart sees beautiful things. Absolutely adore these illuminated seeds - you dug up gold here with your camera.
Janet this is absolutely stunning. The colours, pov, composition is so appealing to me :) I love your motivation behind your musings album. I too have found a shift in my reason for taking photos. I still carry my camera with me everyday, but I no longer force myself to 'see' or take a photo. It is so very liberating. I have thought about starting a new album called ' Mindful moments' and I think you have encouraged me to do just that. Here's to seeing more of your musings, which always lift me up and bring a sense of delight to my day.
@kgolab Thank you for your kind comment! It’s nice to know that you can relate to my musings. “Mindful Moments” sounds like a wonderful idea. I look forward to you doing that! :)
