Key Moment

I meant only to have a look at the pot of ivy I bought for The Dreamcatcher. When I approached the kitchen island where it sits next to the sink awaiting transfer to its new home, I felt drawn to the deeply lobed leaves. The newest ones — like tiny stars! I studied the stars for a while before reaching for my camera. I meant only to have a look at the pot of ivy I bought for The Dreamcatcher. Instead, I saw stars. And grace.

Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.

lovely - it is those bokeh taps again, the star ivy leaves looking fresh new and bright beside them - what lovely pairing.
