I walk the paths through the spring garden and take it all in while the sun plays peek-a-boo with a few airy clouds. I raise my camera to focus on the pear tree and the little bouquets offered by each of its branches. The scripture I read this morning comes to mind, and it seems so fitting on a glorious day like today. I let the beauty of the blossoms and the words sink in like water sinking into thirsty soil. I’m thirsty, and this is just what I need.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.
