I don't know beans about Photoshop, but I thought I'd give it a try to reduce color noise. Clicking around, I found an oil paint filter and had a ball with the sliders. Outside the window over my right shoulder, glistening raindrops clung to the bare branches of the fringe tree before a backdrop of gray sky and soggy lawn. The day needed cheering, and this did the trick!
