Thank you, Lord, for the lion — and the treasured memories it holds!
I asked my daughter the other day if she remembered visiting Riverview Park to feed the ducks when she was a little girl. "Yeah, there was a lion!" I hadn't remembered any lion, but she sure did. I told her the park had been renovated years ago and that I'd not seen any lion on my recent visits. Today was different. Without even thinking lion, I happened to glance toward the playground; and I saw it — the lion! Someone must have made the decision to retain the old lion for the new playground, and I'm sure glad they did!
