As I stood admiring this gerbera daisy, the big, gray cloud blocking the sun decided to move on; and I watched as the now unobstructed sunlight spilled in through the kitchen window — pale at first and gradually intensifying to vibrant gold. Right before my eyes, the daisy began to glow!
God, thank you for those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular. Help me celebrate the holiness of the common day. Amen.
