I love the view from any upper floor window, especially in Winter when leaves don't hide the lower deck (known as the "bowl") and the octagonal deck (known as the "treehouse"). The snow will soon melt into fireside gatherings in the bowl beneath the moon and stars and morning coffee in the treehouse beneath the dense, leafy branches. A peek over the treehouse rail would reveal the sparkling water of Little Plum Creek far below, but I'll stay right here at the window and enjoy this wintry view today.
